With the Crescent for the month of Shawwal 1444 being sighted today in Saudi Arabia subsequently tomorrow i.e Friday, 21st April 2023 is the day of Eid Al Fitr

Salatul Eid will be held tomorrow at 9am at Kinsmgere Community Centre 🕌

Hall is open from 8am

Please use the hall car park appropriately (no double parking)🚙

If parking is full, please use the near by retail car park, and avoid any inconvenience to others as its a work day.

Following the announcement of the The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, on the inability to sight the new moon of Shawaal, the Bicester Islamic Cultural Society 🕌 confims that

*Eid Al Fitr will be on Monday the 2nd of May 2022*

As Salamu Alaykum ✋🏻

Following the announcement of the The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, on the ability to sight the new moon of Ramadan, the Bicester Islamic Cultural Society 🕌 confims that the first of Ramadan 2022 will be on Saturday the 2nd of April 2022.

This means that Isha and Taraweeh starts TONIGHT (02/04/2022) @9:25pm 🧎🧎🧎

By way of explaining this announcement: Bicester Islamic Cultural Society 🕌wishes to affirm its stance on choosing Um-Alqura calendar and calculation as the basis for its annual calendar. This is so that unity is brought between the community on starts of Ramadan and The 2 Eids.

We understand that the start of Eids and Ramadan is a controversial topic every year; as other mosques may follow a different calendar. But we hope that differences like this don’t create any discomfort in the community.

In advance of Ramadan we ask Allah SWT to make us of those who witness Ramadan this year and many years to come and we Ask Allah to ease for us it’s Fasting, Salah, Qiyam and good deeds.🙌🏼🙌🏼
