Nocturnal dreams and encounters have inspired some of the greatest music ever written. This immersive evocation of night-time doesn’t only travel from Purcell and Cavalli to Britten, Howells
and Schubert; it also reaches into folk, cabaret, even Don McLean’s Vincent (Starry, starry night) – resonances of human experience through the ages. From viols to vibraphone, clarinet to celeste,
this is a magical mystical soundworld, starring the 2025 International Opera Awards Rising Star Award-winner, whose performances have been acclaimed worldwide.
