St Mary's Church, Betws-y-Coed Located in the busy tourist village of Betws-y-Coed in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. The church is open every day. All welcome.

Built in 1873, St Mary's Church was designed by Paley & Austin of Lancaster, and replaced the 14thC church of St Michael. Our congregation is drawn from a variety of backgrounds and surrounding towns and villages, and the number of attendees is increased by tourists on holiday. Located right in the centre of Betws-y-Coed, the Gateway to the Snowdonia National Park, St Mary's Church is visited by t

housands of people every year. We're open daily from around 9am to around 5pm for visitors wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of the village - whether to pray, for quiet reflection, or simply to admire our beautiful church. Guide leaflets are available in several languages. Our church hall is used for a variety of activities - from weekly antique fairs in the summer and a Parent & Toddler group that meets two mornings a week to being the rehearsal venue for one of the leading Male Voice choirs in North Wales.
