Dads Group

Dads Group A group for babies, toddlers and their carers. It meets every other Saturday from 9.45- 11.15 at Northchurch Baptist Church.

First week free, then £2 per family per week. We offer a space for carers and their pre-school children on Saturday mornings, every other Saturday. The cost is £2 per week (per family) which covers tea/coffee, snacks for the kids plus bacon butties. Throughout the year we also run various social events which have included family BBQs, camping trips, football, quiz nights and curry nights. The grou

p aims to meet every other Saturday apart from on Bank Holiday Weekends. We are a voluntary group, run by a number of dedicated fathers. This group welcomes all newcomers, we hope to see you soon!

No Give us a Break toddler group this Saturday as there is a wedding in the church. We’re back on Saturday 14th at 9.45 with snacks and toys for the kids - and bacon sandwiches for the adults.

There’s no Give us a Break now until 23rd April as we’re transforming the church into Jerusalem 2000 years ago.
All are invited to our Easter Story Trail at 5pm on Friday 1st April.

We’re running five sessions on Thursday nights at 8pm, starting 9 June, just for parents and carers of under fives. These short, weekly sessions will help you to explore how to nurture your little one’s spiritual life and connect with others.

There are two ways to sign up – as an individual, or as part of a church group – so if the group option might work for you, why not chat to your church leader, children’s leader or toddler groups leader and ask them to sign up to run the course as a church?

The sessions are suitable for anyone pregnant, preparing to adopt or with a baby, toddler or pre-schooler. All parents and carers are welcome including grandparents, godparents and extended family. You’re also really welcome to join if you’re thinking about running some sessions like this in your church or community and want to try it out first.
