This page has news about the community and life of St Peter's Church in the Lancashire village of Belmont. Regular services are held at St. Peter's on Sunday and Wednesday mornings at 10.30am. Usually, the Sunday service takes place at the same time as our Sunday School. On one Sunday in the month we have an all-age or special Family Service when children participate and often help to lead the wor

ship. Various weekday meetings are held in church including The Mothers' Union and the Wednesday Club (a programme of talks preceded by a light lunch). Other services and activities take place throughout the year, particularly at special church seasons such as Easter and Christmas. Here is our monthly service schedule:
1st Sunday - Holy Communion
2nd Sunday - service if the word (Morning Prayer quarterly)
3rd Sunday - Holy Communion
4th Sunday - All age worship with Family Communion
5th Sunday - Celtic Communion
Mid- week Communion every Wednesday @10:30am.
