After a lovely service on Sunday with Jamaica and Erica we say goodbye today as they head to England ... and then beyond. Thanks to both of them for serving BCC, Tullycarnet Community Church and in other parts of Belfast!

We pray for their courage and strength as they continue to be a blessing in whatever part of the world God has in store for them next.

Deuteronomy 31:8 (NLT) - Do not be afraid or discouraged for the Lord will personally go ahead of you.

Tomorrow we are continuing our summer Sundays looking at Encounters with Jesus, but we won't be looking at someone from the Gospel of Luke this week. 🤔

Instead Jamaica and Erika (PAIS Movement) will be sharing of their personal encounters with Jesus - who lead them to leave Brazil and end up in NI (via a few places inbetween).

For the past years they gave been serving with BCC, Tullycarnet Community Church, and other places, and we couldn't let them go without getting a snapshot of all they have been up to, as well as lunch and a bit of craic. Hopefully lunch will be outside🌞 if warm enough ... remembering ''we're not Brazil we're Northern Ireland🤣"

Keith and Sharon Porter are feeling privileged to start a new chapter at Braniel Community Church (BCC), taking over from Rev James Crockett on Sunday. "We have felt truly blessed by the lovely welcome from the congregation. Together we simply want to discover more about Jesus, and grow to become more like Him, to hopefully be a blessing to all the community. Like the building and garden you see we are all still a 'work-in-progress' ... but would love you to join with us - whether you have never been to church before, haven't been for a while or just want to see what Jesus and Christianty is really all about!"

Tomorrow at BCC Rev James Crockett leads his final service before following the call of God to his next assignment.

He will speak tomorrow on a familiar passage for us at BCC, one of his favourites from the prophet Haggai.

A joy to be back in Braniel this morning delivering our one-off ‘It’s Your Move’ workshop with Neil from Braniel Church and Jamaica and Erika from Braniel Community Church! The awesome P7’s from Braniel Primary & Nursery School came along for an interactive morning thinking about the changes, choices and challenges of post-primary school! 🎉

Huge thanks to these two Braniel churches as well as St Dorothea's Church, Gilnahirk, Gilnahirk Presbyterian Church and Gilnahirk Baptist Church buying It’s Your Move books to gift all P7’s in both Braniel and Gilnahirk - so very kind of you to partner and support your school communities this way 🙌🏼

You can request a Proof of Benefit letter online: https://t.co/vhcVyDRoi5 (It will take at least five days to be sent to you)

If you receive Universal Credit, you do not need the Proof of Benefit Letter. However, you will need to upload evidence of your Universal Credit entitlement when you apply.
