Clonard Youth Ministry are offering a year-long placement opportunity for young people aged 18–25. This is a chance to gain practical experience in youth ministry and youth work, receive training and qualifications, and become part of a vibrant team and the wider faith community at Clonard Monastery.

Bookings Now Open – Academic Year 2026–27
Clonard Youth Ministry is now taking bookings for the 2026–27 academic year.
We facilitate Retreats from Year 7 (Confirmation Retreat) through to Year 14, offering engaging and meaningful experiences tailored to the needs of each year group.
Our calendar is already beginning to fill up, so if you would like to arrange a Retreat for your students, please get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred dates.

At Clonard, we provide a bespoke Retreat programme for every school. In consultation with staff and their students, we design each Retreat to respond to the particular needs of your school community, ensuring a relevant, engaging and age-appropriate experience.

Good morning - In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that “the harvest is rich but the labourers are few.” As his disciples, we are called not only to see the needs of the world but to respond with faith, compassion, and action. May we be willing to answer God’s call and bring his love, hope, and mercy to those we meet today.

As we come to the end of the week, our Camino group has now returned home safely, carrying with us many memories, friendships, prayers, and experiences from the journey.
A special word of thanks to Aidan, our E2T leader, who journeyed with us and has put together this final look back at our Camino pilgrimage.
Thank you to everyone who followed our journey, prayed for us, and supported us along the way. We carried your intentions with us to the tomb of St James and throughout every step of the Camino.

We are very much looking forward to seeing many of you at the Clonard Solemn Novena next week as we gather under this year’s theme, “Called and Sent.”

Today we celebrate the Heart of Jesus — a heart filled with love, mercy, compassion, and hope for every person.
The Sacred Heart reminds us that no matter where we are on life’s journey, we are deeply loved by God. In a world that can often feel uncertain, Christ’s Heart remains open, welcoming us, healing us, and calling us to love others as He loves us.
