In one of our final posts, we would like to detail some of the Organisations we have been able to support through donation of resources upon our closure :
Northern Ireland Hospice, Christian Aid, 174 Trust, Whitehouse, Saintfield Road and Helen's Bay Presbyterian Churches.
The City of Belfast School of Music,
Methodist College,
St. Malachy's College, Park Lodge Primary School and the Now Group. We hope that this legacy will help these Organisations for years to come.

Our Copeman Hart Digital Organ, disconnecte, all packed and ready to head to it's new home in St. Malachys College. The College has a long association with Fortwilliam and Macrory. We hope the Organ brings as much joy there as it did at Fortwilliam.

The Kirk Session and Congregation of Fortwilliam and Macrory would like to thank everyone who attended our final service yesterday. It was wonderful to have so many people there supporting us in this most difficult time. Special thanks go to all who contributed or took part in the service, in particular, the Moderator of the General Assembly, Rev. Dr. Charles McMullan. It truly was a fitting end to the 133 years of worship in our building. Over next few days, we will be posting information on the many wonderful organisations and congregations who we have been able to help through donation of some of our equipment and resources.

A wonderful final harvest service this morning, made all that more special by having Rev Dr Lesley Carroll and organist Robert Briscoe back home with us.

Some particularly poignant and uplifting messages as our congregation soon starts on a new journey. Not least to be the thankful and make best use of all the gifts that we have at our disposal - welcome those who join, ask after and care about those we engage with on a weekly or daily basis and be there for one another.

As reminded by the words of the disciple John:

"Stay joined to me, and I will stay joined to you. Just as a branch cannot produce fruit unless it stays joined to the vine, you cannot produce fruit unless you stay joined to me .... If you stay joined to me, and I stay joined to you, then you will produce lots of fruit. But you cannot do anything without me."
