Jesus Christ is Lord – God the Son the second person of the Trinity, Who became a man, born of a virgin, was crucified on a cross, died a substitutionary death for all men, was buried, rose again on the third day, ascended into heaven and will soon come again to Judge the w
orld. Salvation – That all mankind is born with a sin nature, falls short of the glory of God and is separated from Him, facing a lost and damned eternity, but that Christ came to seek and to save men redeeming them by His blood offering salvation; cleansing, forgiveness and eternal life to all who will call upon Him. The Holy Spirit – As the third person of the Trinity, who works as the Agent of salvation, bringing people to Christ and indwelling all believers working in them that which is pleasing to God, strengthening, leading and guiding them at all times. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruit and gifts of the Spirit. God’s Word, the Bible – as living and powerful, being infallible and the sole authority for the life and conduct of man. The True Church – crosses denominational boundaries and comprises the sum of all those who possess eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ and not merely profess to know Him. We believe in the Church as the eternal and universal Body of Christ, being those who have accepted the work of atonement. Worship & Prayer – that true worship may be expressed through praise, including singing, clapping, dancing lifting of hands and must include an obedient and faithful life. We believe in the power of prayer, in the name of Jesus, to communicate with our heavenly Father and change lives, bringing the power and rule of heaven into the earth realm. Evangelism – that reaching people with the gospel and discipling them is the obligation of every believer as commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ. Each person is to be a witness first to their own family and then the wider world as the Holy Spirit enables and leads them. Water Baptism – as an ordinance commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ, for every believer, by total immersion as a public profession of their faith in Jesus Christ. Stewardship – that every person is called to be a good steward of his life and resources which ultimately belong to God. We believe that obedience to the principle of tithing is taught in the Scriptures. The Priesthood of all Believers – that every believer has a unique relationship to the Lord and has immediate access to the throne of Grace through the Lord Jesus Christ and has the ability to manifest His power in ministry.
