Tonight at church we gathered for a fellowship meal and to share in Holy Communion. It was a great night with good food, great friends and family and lots of chat and laughter as we remembered the night Jesus shared the Last Supper with the disciples. These were the same disciples who would betray him, deny him and abandon him, yet he still broke bread with him. What a memorial night. Looking forward to gathering again tomorrow night around the cross 7pm Dundonald Methodist Church

Christmas thought https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1E1Dqjz1tP/

If there’s one truth that quiets the chaos of this season, it’s this: He came for all people.

Not just for the wealthy or the wise. Not just for the devout or the deserving. Not just for the ones who have their lives together or seem like they do. He came for the shepherds on the hillside, the Magi from far-off lands, the weary and the waiting, the broken and the burdened.

He came for you. He came for me.

The Christmas story is so much more than a heartwarming scene, it’s a reminder that from the very beginning, Jesus broke every barrier. His love is not limited by status, nationality, or sin. He came for all, and He invites all to come to Him.

The angel’s message to the shepherds that holy night still rings true:

“Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.” -Luke 2:10-11.

All the people. The forgotten ones. The sinners. The skeptics. The ones who feel like they don’t belong. The ones who are clinging to hope by a thread.

This Christmas, let’s carry that truth in our hearts. Let’s be intentional about reflecting His love in how we welcome others. Because if He came for all people, then everyone, every stranger, every neighbor, every family member, is worthy of our kindness, grace, and joy.

He came for all. Let’s live like it.

End of Year Thought
https://www.facebook.com/share/1AKoJhjRz5/

When I look back over this year, I don’t just see the moments that stretched me…I see the faithfulness that carried me. What I once thought were losses were really God’s gentle removals, things He cleared out so my heart could finally breathe again. He wasn’t taking from me, He was tuning me. He was silencing the noise, the distractions, the voices that drowned out His whisper.

And somewhere in the quiet, somewhere in the stillness I didn’t ask for but desperately needed—I realized I hadn’t lost anything at all. I was being led back to the One thing I could never afford to lose.

Because when God clears a path, it’s never empty. It’s holy. When He allows things to fall away, it’s because He’s making room for something eternal. And when He brings you to a place where you finally hear Him again…that’s where you find yourself, too.

This year didn’t strip me. It saved me.
I didn’t just find strength—
I found Him.
And in finding Him…
I found me. 🤍🙏🏻

He didn’t come by accident. He didn’t enter the world as a last-minute plan or a distant idea. Jesus stepped into our darkness intentionally—with your name, your story, your battle, and your future already on His heart.

The King of Kings wrapped Himself in humanity so you would never have to walk through life wondering if you’re loved, chosen, or seen. The manger was not small—it was strategic. It was God whispering, “I will meet you right where you are, even in the low places, even in the quiet places, even in the places you thought were too ordinary for glory.”

This season, remember: You are not an afterthought. You are not overlooked. You are the reason He came with purpose and lived with intention.

May your heart rest in the truth that the Savior of the world stepped into history to rewrite your eternity. And even now, He is still stepping into your story—guiding, strengthening, redeeming, and reminding you that His love has never missed its target.

You. Always you. On purpose, with purpose. 🤍🙏🏻

No, Jesus wasn’t born on December 25th. And honestly? That’s not the point. What matters is that Heaven stepped into our broken world. The Savior came. God wrapped Himself in flesh and moved into the mess we couldn’t fix. That alone is worth every song, every celebration, every grateful breath.

Because the miracle was never the calendar date—
it was the God who keeps His promises,
the Light who came into our darkness,
the Hope who refused to leave us hopeless.

So while the world debates timelines and traditions, let your heart stay anchored to truth: Christ came for you. For your sin, your shame, your story, your salvation. And if that doesn’t stir your heart, maybe it’s time to slow down, look again, and remember what this season is really about.

May we not get so caught up in the details that we forget the Deliverer.
May we not get so distracted by Christmas that we miss Christ.
May we celebrate—not because the date is perfect,
but because God’s love is.

Jesus was born. The Savior arrived. And that is a miracle worth celebrating every single day. 🤍🙏🏻

Christmas Prayer https://www.facebook.com/share/17Rmcubman/

Each letter of CHRISTMAS is a prayer of invitation, for Christ to come close, fill our hearts with peace, and move us to love as He first loved us. This season isn’t just about counting the days, it’s about making the days count through hope, healing, and holy stillness.
Let this be our prayer as we prepare Him room:
“Come, Lord Jesus — Emmanuel, God with us.”
