Did you know that Girls' Brigade International celebrates its' birthday on 10th June 2026? To mark the day, members around the worldwide family join together in the International Day of Prayer. A prayer resource has been written especially for the day and can be downloaded from the Girls' Brigade International website at:

Just a little reminder to all captains and leaders about the AGM on Monday.

Our district AGM will be held on Monday 11th May 2026 at 7.30pm in New Life Church. The meeting is open to all leaders not just captains and we would love to see you.

All the district office bearer roles will be vacant and we really need these post filled in order to keep the district executive and indeed the district operating. Again these roles are not just for captains so if any officers would be interested in becoming more involved in district and GBNI matters we would love to have you on board.

Lovely afternoon at Metropolitan Tabernacle for our district praise service.

We had a great time of praise and fellowship together. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet as a district and spend time worshiping and hearing the word of God.

Calling all Officers and Captains

Do you want to become more involved in the GB District?

Do you want to help shape the future of our District?

Do you want to help plan events, training and competitions?

Do you love meeting with other officers and captains in the District?

If your answer to any of these is yes, then please contact Helen

We urgently need district officer bearers to take over positions at the AGM in May. At present roles are either vacant or current office bearers will complete their term this year. Unfortunately if we do not fill the roles we will have no district executive, meaning, no meetings, no info, no events, no competitions, no training, no praise service m, no fellowship within the district. It would be sad to see this happen. Secretary and treasurer are important roles which really need filled and it is difficult to operate a district without them.

If you are interested I am happy to send out role descriptions and or chat to anyone interested.

Margaret and Helen had a lovely night representing the district at the Belfast City Council Take 5 Initiative, celebration night. It took place in the beautiful surroundings of Belfast City Hall and showcased all the projects including our own district project of our recent events.
We know the girls all enjoyed the events thanks to this funding.
