Seymour Hill Methodist Church Seymour Hill Methodist Church was officially opened in November 1958 and is situated in the Seymour Hill estate in the Dunmurry area.

It was part of the Finaghy & Seymour Hill Methodist Circuit. The final service was held on 14th January 2024.

Mrs Jess celebrated her 107th birthday on Tuesday - amazing lady who was a founder member of the church and served as a church leader for over 40 years. She received visits from many people including the Deputy First Minister, Emma Lyttle-Pengally.

It is with great sadness that we report the recent passing of Mrs Kathleen Good, wife of former minister Rev Winston Good, who was minister of Seymour Hill church 1966-1971. Sincere sympathy to Rev Good and Paul, Geoffrey and Sarah at this very sad time.

It is with great sadness that we report the passing today of Rev Andrew Boucher, former Minister of Finaghy Methodist Church and superintendent of the Finaghy & Seymour Hill Circuit. We have many happy memories of Andrew preaching in Seymour Hill and chairing Church Council and other meetings over the years. Sincere condolences to his wife Joyce and their family at this very sad time - God bless.

Farewell to Rev Colin Gracie who moves on from Finaghy Methodist Church to the Armagh circuit after serving for 10 years in Finaghy (most of that time as Superintendent of the Finaghy and Seymour Hill Circuit). Great thanksgiving service for the life of Rev Robert Wallace today in Finaghy Methodist Church. Robert served as Pastoral Assistant Minister in Seymour Hill church for 15 years 2008 - 2023 and was greatly loved and respected.

It with great sadness that we inform you that Rev Robert Wallace, Pastoral Assistant Minister of Seymour Hill Methodist Church from 2008 to 2023 died this morning in hospital after a long illness. Robert was much loved and respected by all the members and friends of the church he served so faithfully. Sincere condolences to his wife Barbara, his sons Gareth, David and Andrew, and all the family circle. Funeral details to follow.

Reminder: no Social Cafe/coffee drop in this week (17th April) due to Holy Week. Back to normal the following Thursday (24th) from 10.30 am - 12.30 pm.
Holy Week services in Finaghy Methodist Church on Thursday 17th April (including Holy Communion) and Good Friday 18th April at 8 pm both nights (refreshments on Friday from 7.30 pm before the service). Easter Sunday service in Finaghy at 10.30 am (please note time!). Happy Easter everyone.
