Today it’s the turn of the organ to perform in the Fleadh. At 1pm, there will be a 30 minute concert of Irish inspired organ works performed by Mr David Stevens. Having heard the rehearsals, this is going to be a tremendous performance! We look forward to seeing you there.

At 7:30 this evening, come and fill the church and be astounded by the amazing trad/jazz performers: Lochlan McBride, Marianne McBride, Annie Diamond, and our own choristers, Ben and Nick Falconer. They have all been studying jazz with David Lyttle and the JazzlifeAlliance programme for the past five years, but Lochlan, Marianne and Annie are also prolific trad performers. Don’t miss this!

Next week, St George’s joins the Fleadh Cheoil with something for everyone.
For those interested in organ music, David Stevens will perform a lunchtime concert on Wednesday at 1pm with a programme which includes arrangements of ‘Salley Gardens’ Slane, and Stamm’s ‘Celtic suite’ among others. Remember that no tickets are required and that entry to all events is free.

Sunday sees the start of the Fleadh and over 800,000 visitors are expected to visit Belfast during the festival week.

Access to the church will only be via Victoria Street / Albert Clock end of the High Street and the area beyond the church further up the High Street will be closed to cars.
