It was a joy to reflect on John 15:1-7 with the women of Village South. We had a great time arranging flowers too which give us a simple reminder that these flowers will wither and fade (see my sad peony) but by abiding in Christ- he bears much fruit.

Join us this Holy Week as we reflect on Jesus and his journey to the cross to reconcile the world to himself.

“For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised” 2 Corinthians 5:14-15

God is a promise keeper. He has chosen to relate to humanity through covenant, and from the very moment sin entered the world, He promised a Redeemer. Every covenant that follows unfolds and reveals more of that promise, ultimately fulfilled in Jesus.

Through this series we will explore the unfolding promise of God to bring about redemption for his people, and see the Bible as one unified story of God’s faithful promises fulfilled in Christ.

We’re looking forward to exploring this together starting this Sunday. Come along at 10:30.
