DDYC Church of Ireland, Down and Dromore Youth and Children's Department which makes up DDYC!!

We are Down and Dromore Youth and Children's Department... Within our diocese we cover 78 Parishes. Andrew Brannigan, (Diocesan Development officer), Josh Thornbury (Diocesan Youth Officer) and Millie Bellew (Diocesan Children’s Officer) work together, to bring together the Youth and Children's department.. In reality the volunteers who run over 590 initiatives in these parishes every year are the

real hero's - and from them we have created the Council which serves Down and Dromore's Youth and Children...

The end of a brilliant youth weekend, with over 140 young people and leaders from across the diocese. A huge thanks to all of the leaders and the young people who contributed so much. Thanks to Lorcan, who opened up Gods word helping us to think about who Jesus is, what the Bible is and what prayer is.

There will be plenty of sleep tonight for leaders and young people alike! 😴

Day 2 of JAM = 100% epic 🎉

We climbed walls, dodged paintballs, ran through rainbows in the colour run, toasted s’mores by the fire, got creative with crafts, enjoyed picnics in the sunshine, and cooled down with ice lollies. 🍦

Huge thanks to our amazing leaders for bringing the energy, and to everyone who came and made today unforgettable. JAM wouldn’t be JAM without you! ♥️

Howdy, partners! Banbridge Parish Holiday Bible Club was gold standard this morning! 🤠

With 180 kids, 60 incredible leaders, multiple jaw-dropping set designs (including a whole corridor transformed into a gold mine!), the place was bursting with laughter, creativity, and Bible truth. 📖 A massive yee-haw to Ava, whose leadership was nothing short of phenomenal. It looked like a super week from start to finish, and today was the perfect grand finale.
