We sang this great song by CityAlight this evening.

In Daniel 7, God is referred to as the Ancient of Days, one of many names attributed to the God of the Bible. This song is a reminder to the people of God of who He is amidst good times and bad. While we may never get the answer as to “why” situations occur on this side of Heaven, we can take comfort in “who” holds the past, present, and future, who also promises to be with us through it all.

Prayer Points: pray for 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 for the team; pray that they would be able to 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 the Gospel well, espescially with those that they will be meeting as part of outreach events; pray for continued 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 together as a team and they will continue to 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰 in their own faiths.

Prayer points: Pray that Sarah would be a 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐥 in all situations, for the kids to have 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 to hear and receive God’s word and for 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 over health, travel and safety of the kids and leaders

In The Bible, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights. Day 41 came and the rain stopped.

Moses committed murder & hid in the desert for 40 years. 41 came, and God called him to help rescue Israel.

Moses went up on the mountain for 40 days. On day 41, he received the Ten Commandments.

The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. Year 41, they walked into the Promised Land.

Goliath taunted Israel for 40 days. Day 41 came, and David slew him.

Jonah preached a message of repentance to Ninevah for 40 days. On day 41, God stopped His plan to destroy them.

Jesus fasted and was tempted for 40 days. Day 41, and the devil fled.

After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples for 40 days. On day 41, He ascended into Heaven.

All this to say...don’t quit. The rain will stop, the giant will fall, and you will enter your promised land.

Don't give up at 40.

What? Leading on the Scripture Union Northern Ireland Fermanagh Primary Camp. It’s a residential camp for boys and girls in classes P5-P7.

Where? Bellanaleck Fermanagh.

When? 5th to 11th July

Prayer Points: For the children attending the camp, prayer that they would come with 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬, eager to learn about God and that they would 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 of His love and place their trust in Him.

For 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, prayer that I would be well prepared and rely on God’s 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 as I help lead and teach the children throughout the week.

For 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, prayer for 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲 and 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 for all leaders, that we will 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐲𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 and be a 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 for the children.
