A 27-year-old man from a Muslim-majority country firmly rejected Christ's divinity. "I am a Muslim and I believe in the One God, Allah," he stated. To him, Jesus was merely a prophet.

Through a Biblica partner working in restricted regions, a ministry team patiently engaged him in conversation. They explained that God is holy, and sin had created separation between us and Him. Good deeds alone couldn't change human nature corrupted by sin.

The pivotal moment came when they asked: who would judge the world in the afterlife?

He paused. Judgment is God's alone. And Christ would fulfil this role as God manifested in the flesh.

He began to reconsider. Then he asked: "If I want to become a Christian, what is required of me?"

He confessed his faith, acknowledging that Christ died on the cross and rose on the third day to forgive his sins. He prayed a heartfelt prayer of repentance.

Afterward, he said: "I feel a beautiful feeling."

God is moving in restricted regions where the Gospel is banned. Biblica partners with ministries that allow seekers to reach out anonymously for their safety.

Pray for those living where faith costs everything. May God protect them and draw many more to Himself.

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” - Ephesians 1:3

Paul wrote these words from a prison cell. Even though his physical surroundings were difficult, he recognised a higher reality. Our true position is in the heavenly realms, where our identity remains secure regardless of what happens on earth. Paul does not say God gives us just enough to get by. Instead, he declares that God has already given us every spiritual blessing. When we have the Lord, we have no lack.

"Faith goes up the stairs that love has built and looks out the windows which hope has opened." — Charles Spurgeon

Faith, hope, and love aren't separate experiences. They work together. God's love provides the foundation that allows our faith to rise. As our faith grows, we learn to place our hope fully in Him. The more our hope rests in the Lord, the stronger our faith becomes and the deeper our love for Him grows.

What a beautiful journey He invites us into!

"I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions." - Joel 2:28

A Muslim village leader in East Africa had a vision. He saw many people standing, then watched as some fell to the ground, lifeless. Then a bright star moved across the sky, passing over those who were alive until it reached those who had died. The star breathed on them, and they woke up.

Then he heard a voice: "Jesus is the one who gives eternal life. Follow Him."

When the leader woke, he knew he had to find believers in Jesus. He searched until he found them and shared his dream.

They gave him a Bible, which had only recently been translated into his own language. Together, they began to read. They explained the Good News. The words he heard in the dream became clear as he read Scripture in the language of his heart.

Soon, he accepted Jesus.

God is pouring out His Spirit in East Africa, using dreams, visions, and His Word to draw people to Himself. When Scripture arrives in a heart language, the Gospel becomes unmistakably clear.

In India, fourteen states have anti-conversion laws that challenge Gospel work. Believers face exclusion from village water supplies and housing loans. Pastors are imprisoned. The risks are real, but the work continues.

Recently, four tuk-tuk drivers shared a story about their ministry: each vehicle carries a container filled with Gospel magazines provided through our partner Good News For Everyone Passengers can read as they travel and take them at the end of their journey.

One Hindu priest picked up a magazine during his ride. Reading it introduced him to Jesus. He became a disciple.

Despite increasing difficulties, Indian believers press on with fierce love for Jesus and determination to share the Gospel. Pastors travel 125 miles on motorbikes to receive evangelism training and Scripture resources. Before heading home with boxes of Bibles strapped to their vehicles, they gather to sing and pray, asking God to mightily use His Word to grow His kingdom.

Their confidence in the power of Scripture is unshakable.
Pray for the safety and boldness of these believers as they introduce many to Jesus Christ.

“The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.” - Psalm 29:11

The God who has the power to uproot trees is the same God who uses His might to sustain us. Biblical peace is more than the absence of conflict. It is a sense of wholeness that remains steady even when our lives feel chaotic.

We do not have to burn ourselves out trying to manufacture our own stability. When we lack the strength to endure or the peace to move forward, we can simply ask. God desires to bless us with the very things we cannot provide for ourselves.

After several days of travel to a remote location in Indonesia, a Bible Translation Consultant and a Theological Advisor arrived at a largely Muslim village to oversee a critical step in translating the Bible to their language.

For 18 months, a translation team in the village had been working on New Testament books in a language that had never carried Scripture. Now, the community review process would begin.

Native speakers sat with tablets, read through translated passages, offered corrections, and debated which words sounded most natural and true.

The community checking process ensures the translation is accurate and faithful to the language, and it creates community buy-in. When people know Scripture has been translated and approved by their own language speakers, they trust and embrace it.

The visitors then attended two remote churches. At one Sunday service, a pastor read aloud from the Gospel of Luke in the local language. It was the first time Scripture in their language had ever been read in church.

The congregation responded with joyful enthusiasm. Both churches are now excited to help distribute the New Testament when translation is complete.

Please pray with us for this translation and others like it, that God's Word will transform lives around the world.

"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose." — Jim Elliot

Jim Elliot wrote these words in his journal on 28th October 1949, as a young man fresh out of Wheaton College. He had no idea that just months later, he would first hear about the Huaorani people of Ecuador, or that seven years after penning this entry, he would give his life as a missionary attempting to reach them.

His sacrifice wasn't foolish. It was an investment in eternity.

What we hold onto in this life is temporary. What we give for the Kingdom lasts forever.

“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” - Psalm 34:8

Summer gives us the breathing room to show our children that seeking God is a joy rather than a chore. When our children see us lingering over the Word or hear us pray when we are overwhelmed, we are modelling exactly where strength is found.

We can weave Scripture into the ordinary moments of our day. Whether we are on a car ride or folding laundry, let us look for ways to talk about His character. Truth sticks best when it is connected to the rhythm of our real lives.

“He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” - Romans 8:32

God gave up His most precious treasure while we were still in rebellion. This act is the foundation for our salvation. Since the most difficult price has already been paid, we know that God is not stingy or reluctant to help us. If He has already provided the greatest sacrifice to redeem us, we can trust Him to provide for every other need in our lives.

When we face difficult times, we can let this verse act as a mental reset. We do not have to beg or stay at a distance. Jesus’ sacrifice made it so that we can approach the throne of grace with total confidence today.
