With September on the way, lots of activities and organisations are getting ready to start again. Here’s what’s on this week:

Tuesday, 6.15pm - Girls’ Brigade. This will be an informal evening for existing members and new girls, to welcome everyone back, give information and have some fun. Uniform is optional.

Wednesday, 10.30am (until 12ish) - Bible Study. An informal time of Bible study and fellowship, open to everyone. The Bible Study meets in the Vestry.

Wednesday, 12 noon - 2pm - Church open for prayer. Everyone is welcome to call in at any time, and can make use of our prayer stations, pray privately, or sit and reflect. Our minister, Rev Nigel Murphy, is available to chat to during this time.

Thursday, 10am - 12 noon - Knit and Knatter. Open to everyone, Knit & Knatter takes place in the Smiley Hall - feel free to come along and knit (or crochet, embroider, whatever…) or just come and enjoy a cup of coffee and some company.

The church is open on Wednesday afternoons from 12-2, for anyone who wants to call in. Whether you need space to pray, someone to chat with, or just room to think, please feel free to come for as much or as little time as you need.

While most of our organisations are taking a break for the summer, Knit and Knatter continues on Thursday mornings form 10-12. You can knit, natter, both or neither - just come along to enjoy the company and a cup of tea if you want! The group meets in the Smiley Hall (the one beside the church).

Our new minister Rev Nigel Murphy joined us on Sunday and will lead worship again this week (12th July). We look forward to getting to know Nigel in the coming months!

Our services continue as normal over the summer months, at 11am, with tea and coffee served beforehand - do come along and join us any time.

We're sad to announce the death of Mrs Isabella Hume. Her funeral will take place in the church on Tuesday 16th June.
