Tonight we learnt about Lent but instead of giving up something the boys love, our Anchor and Junior boys have a mission over Lent, colour each task as it is completed, also a space has been left for them on the egg so they can write something they did that isn't on the list......can't wait to see how colourful the picture will be when its done 😀 Have fun boys!!!

Tonight our Anchors and Juniors started their night off with scripture learning what they could pray to God about. Some boys came up with great stuff like asking God for help, to look after their friend at school who was off today because he was sick, to forgive their sins, to look after their family and there was loads more idea of what they could pray to God for.

Next we went on to our wildlife topic and each boy was given a magic capsule which was put into water and then we left it to do our hedgehog craft. We then went back to see what was produced from our capsules...there was a spider, ants, snail, scorpion, ladybird, fly and so much more.

Then it's time to go home, it really is the quickest hour of the day 🫣

Tonight our Anchors and Juniors watched a video to help them understand what Remembrance Day is all about and then they all made their own poppy wreath using their hands as templates and what a beautiful creation it was 🥰

Our company section tonight are making their very own watch and the concentration on their faces to make sure they solder it together correctly, the boys love it when the soldering machine comes out. Finish product will be shown in the next couple of weeks.....watch this space ☺️

A busy busy night......we had a light party with balloons, glo sticks, we made bun spiders with our theme this year being wildlife watch and we made our very own lighthouse to remind us that Jesus is our Lighthouse, He is the light of the world. Always a good night when the parents and kids go home with their hands full of all the boys hard work tonight. Have a lovely break and come back to us safe and sound on the 5th November 🥰
