SERVICE OF THANKSGIVING FOR THE LIFE AND WITNESS OF DR. W D BOYD.

As a congregation, we are saddened by the death of our minister emeritus the Rev. Dr. W D Boyd (pictured centre between his only two successors). Dr. Boyd (Bill) was the minister of Eglinton Presbyterian Church from 1967 until his retirement in 1992.

A highly respected and deeply loved minister he led us through the worst of the troubles.

*A service of thanksgiving for the life of Dr Boyd will take place in Eglinton on Thursday 6th August at 10am.*

As recently remarked within our church family; “He has gone where he wanted to be, home with his Lord.”

A huge thank you to all the children and families who joined us this morning to celebrate the end of a fantastic week of Holiday Bible Club. It was such a joy to worship together, hear the children singing with such enthusiasm, and enjoy plenty of ice cream afterwards! 🍦

We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make the week possible, and especially to all the families who came along today. We hope you felt warmly welcomed and that you’ll come back and visit us again soon.
