Job opportunity at Whiteabbey Presbyterian Church

Whiteabbey Presbyterian Church wishes to appoint a Youth and Children’s Ministry Coordinator (3 year fixed term appointment)

Are you passionate about inspiring and equipping young people and children to follow Jesus relevantly in their world today, whilst integrating them into the life of the local congregation?

We are looking for a staff member to play a strategic role in the evangelism, nurture and disciple making of the young people and children in our congregation and community.

Three years relevant, post-qualification experience,
OR have five years’ paid experience of youth and children’s work within a church context, including coordinating and leadership development roles,
OR a teacher with five years’ post qualification experience in school, and two years’ experience of leading in a voluntary children’s or youth organisation.

Salary will be: £25,357 plus agreed expense costs
3 year fixed term appointment

This role is conditional upon the award of funding which has been made available for three years

Role will require access to a vehicle or public transport
