Just sharing this here for anyone who wanted a little more background after the last video.
In the homily for Vocation Sunday, I mentioned the witness of Fr Hugh Mullan and Fr Noel Fitzpatrick. Two local priests, killed eleven months apart, doing the exact same thing, going out to tend to the wounded and bring the sacraments in the middle of real danger.
This isn’t ancient history. Many who knew them are still with us. Their brother priests are still serving. It’s close. Very close.
