What a special Sunday as we came together to celebrate William’s ministry and give thanks for all he has shared with us as he begins his journey towards retirement.

It was a wonderful opportunity for the congregation to show our appreciation, presenting William with a special gift — ‘The Beautiful East’ by Keith Drury, customised to feature the four churches where William has faithfully ministered. This was a small expression of our gratitude for his dedicated service, kindness, and the many ways he has supported, encouraged, and enriched our church family.

After the service, we shared a lovely retirement lunch together — a time of fellowship, laughter, memories, and giving thanks for the journey we have shared.

We pray for William and Wilma as they begin this next chapter together, wishing them both every blessing and happiness for the future.
