SUMMER @ KNOCK | 2026 ☀️

We’re are so excited to launch our sign ups for Summer 2026. We have an action packed summer for your children and young people and we cannot wait for you to be part of it!

Note: Sign ups often fill up quickly so make sure you have your alarms set, and laptops ready to go at the right date and time. 🕰️ 💻 ‼️

KINGS CROSS CLUB - 3rd - 7th August 2026
King’s Cross Club is our Holiday Bible club - it’s for children going in to P1-P7 (from Sept 2026) from 10am -12.30pm each day. King’s Cross Club has Bible stories, games, craft and lots of fun! Sign ups go live TUESDAY 5TH MAY at 7pm. Link in our bio.

ACTIVATE - 10th - 14th August 2026
Activate is for young people in years 8 - 12 (from Sept 2026) from 7pm - 9pm most days. There’s a mixture of games, sports, challenges, Bible talks, worship, discussion groups and a day trip! Sign ups go live TUESDAY 5TH MAY at 8pm. Link in our bio.

GAME OF THREE HALVES - 10th - 12th August 2026
At Game of Three Halves we use sport to promote friendships, positive community relations and have fun! In small groups, children and young people go round coaching sessions of rugby, football, gaelic, basketball based on fun drills and games. This is for children and young people P3 - Year 10 (from Sept 2026) from 9:30am - 1pm each day. Sign ups go live TUESDAY 5TH MAY at 8pm. Link in our bio.

Next Thursday we have a workshop helping parents build confidence in parents and carers to support their children and young people as they grow up, navigate puberty and develop relationships with others.

Children and young people are facing huge pressure from the media and their peers when it comes to body image, self-esteem, s*xual choices and risk-taking in relationships. This engaging workshop empowers parents & carers to address sensitive issues and to explore practical methods of communication as they encourage their children and young people to build strong, healthy relationships. Topics covered in this presentation:
• Pressures and influences on young people
• Stages of child development
• When and how to talk about puberty, growing up and s*x
• Communication
• Boundaries

WOMEN’S NIGHT OUT

Join local artist Kimberley Ladd for an evening of playful printmaking.

Kimberley will guide you through the stages of transforming everyday packaging materials (like Tetra Pak) into prints you’ll be genuinely proud of. You’ll be using professional printing inks, beautiful Italian paper, and an etching press—so it’s a chance to experience something a bit different and hands-on.

All materials are provided—just bring your creativity and come ready to enjoy the process. (While the inks claim to be washable, it’s probably best not to wear your favourite clothes!)

We’ll also have nibbles and refreshments throughout the evening, making it a relaxed space to chat, connect, and unwind together.

MEN’S NIGHT OUT

Fancy a great night out? Come along for an evening of axe throwing followed by some seriously good chicken wings.

We’ll meet at The Axe Yard for 6:45pm, with axe throwing from 7–8pm—no experience needed, just come ready for a laugh and a bit of friendly competition. Afterwards, we’ll head to Wingstop from 8–9pm to relax, chat, and enjoy some great food.

It’s a brilliant chance to connect, unwind, and have a good night together.

It’s Easter Party time… join us at Knock Methodist Church Halls at 10am tomorrow (Friday 27th March) for our Easter Celebration. We’ll have soft play, snacks (and plenty of coffee for the adults!) We can’t wait!

We’ll be off April 3rd and 10th and look forward to seeing you all again on Friday 17th April.
