**🕌 Alhamdulillah – What a Wonderful Open Day at Belfast Islamic Centre! 🌟**

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited **Belfast Islamic Centre** for our **Mosque Open Day**.

It was truly a fantastic day, with a significant number of visitors from across the community joining us to learn about Islam, explore the mosque, enjoy the exhibitions and activities, and engage in open and meaningful conversations.

The enthusiasm, curiosity, and warmth shown throughout the day highlighted the importance of creating spaces where people can meet, ask questions, and build understanding. The overwhelming response has reinforced the need for events like this on a more regular basis, and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future, Insha'Allah.

A special thank you goes to all our dedicated volunteers and partners especially Discover Islam Ireland discover.islam.ireland whose hard work made the day such a success.

With deep sadness, we invite our community to join us in remembering our beloved sister **Safiya**. (For sisters only)

🕛 **From 12:00pm at Belfast Islamic Centre**, there will be talks and reflections from Sister Safiya’s friends.

This will be a time for remembrance, comfort, and mutual support. Community members are welcome to share reflections and words of remembrance.

🕌 **Janazah prayer:** After the **second Jumu'ah prayer (1:45pm)**, Insha'Allah.

📍**The burial/funeral will take place in England.**

Food and refreshments will be available afterwards for those wishing to remain together in fellowship and support.

May Allah (SWT) forgive Sister Safiya, grant her the highest ranks of Jannah, and give strength and patience to her family and loved ones. Ameen. 🤲🏼

🌙 Eid Al-Adha Announcement 🌙
Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah,

As you may be aware the blessed month of Dhul Hijjah started on Monday, 18th of May.

Accordingly, *Eid al‑Adha will be on Wednesday, 27 May*, insha’Allah.

These are the best days of the year - a time for dhikr, charity, fasting, and good deeds.
May Allah fill them with barakah for you and your families.

*We will share full Eid arrangements and timings on our social media pages in the next few days inshaAllah.*
