One week since A Celtic Passion and there has been such an encouraging response from so many people who joined us at Clonard Monastery.The most frequent word I have heard personally has been 'inspiring'. Thanks to all the people in this photograph who made it so - from the left Francis McPeake, Mairead Forde, Philip Mateer, myself, Fr Clem MacManuis, Francis McPeake snr, Paula McPeake. Looking forward to A Celtic Advent later this year.

One day left until the presentation of Redemption:A Celtic Passion in Clonard Monastery on April 8th at 7.30pm. Today's rehearsal was inspiring as Philip Mateer recited passion and resurrection passages from St Mark's Gospel to Irish traditional musical backing! Fr Clem's Gaelic singing was moving and the band and choir were inpirational. It will be a wonderful evening for all who are able to come. No tickets required. Come and celebrate the Easter story in a way you will never have expereinced before!

2 days until A Celtic Passion is presented in Clonard Monastery. The musical arrangements to contemporary tunes for Catholic and Protestant hymns by Francis McPeake are really worth hearing, to the excellent musicianship of the McPeake band. Sunday April 8th at 7.30: doors open at 7.00pm. No tickets required. Please do share this with freinds on Facebook. It will be a truly memorable event. Listen to Francis on this video clip.

Fr Clem MacManuis helped to plan and devise A Celtic Passion in 2010 asnd shares his thoughts here. He will be singing some songs in Gaelic during the performance, as a lover of Irish language and lliturgy and of Christ. Only 8 days to go to Redemption:A Celtic Passion. Only 10 days until Redemption: A Celtic Passion, in Clonard Monastery on April 8th at 7.30pm. We are so encouraged at how everything is porgessing so well. If you love Irish traditional music with a cutting edge flavour you will enjoy MCPEAKE, and especially Mairead Forde on the fiddle. It is, metaphorcially, electrifying and not to be missed. Listen to Mairead talk about her approach to her music and A Celtic Passion in particular.

Only 12 days until the performance of A Celtic Passion in Conard Monastery on Sunday 8th April at 7.30pm. The music is performed by MCPEAKE , and Francis McPeake has created excellent arrangements, as well as orchestrated the singers and musicians for this unique event. Francis is one of Ireland's outstanding and innovative Irish musicians and continues to break new ground with 'A Celtic Passion'. Redemption:A Celtic Passion is only 14 days away! Rehearsals are underway for this unqiue event combining Catholic and Protestant traditions and cultures for The Greatest Story Ever Told.
