18:30 Jesus Christ. The only way.
We continue our series in Johns gospel tomorrow. Within hours now of the cross our Saviour gives a “new” commandment. It’s our last kids ignite before the summer break so after our children’s talk they will have their own little party in our fellowship hall. Tomorrow evening we look at the exclusivity of our gospel. No one no matter how sincere or religious zealous or devout comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ. We gather again tomorrow at both services to treasure Him.

As Jesus promised this gospel would go to the nations. If church tradition is correct then the Apostle Thomas first brought the gospel to India. It was such a blessing to see the fruit of the missionary movement from the labor of Thomas to William Carey and many others who brought the gospel to India in the lives of our friends Philip and Jerelin. What an encouragement they were to us as they told how they met Jesus Christ and came to serve him in Northern Ireland. Treasuring Christ together.

Love on its knees.
We continue our series in John. Our Saviour now within hours of his death having loved his own who were in the world he loved them unto the end. We look again at Christ tomorrow morning. At our fellowship Sunday evening service we are looking to our friends Phillip and Jerileen from India who now live in Northern Ireland they will be sharing their testimony of how Christ met them and saved them half a world away. Let’s meet again to treasure Christ together.

Questions and answers.
Tomorrow night we begin a new format at our Thursday night bible studies. Over the summer we will be trying to answer some questions that people have about a whole range of doctrines and issues that the bible deals with. But maybe we are not as clear on them as we ought to be. Tomorrow night we begin with a question that deals with what D.A Carson called “the difficult doctrine of the love of God”. Let’s gather to learn and treasure Christ in his word.

Sunday morning. Unbelievable unbelief.
Sunday evening. A surprising summary.
We continue our series in Johns gospel tomorrow looking at the end of Ch12 where our Lords public ministry is coming to an end. And as it does so we meet again this constant division that the person of Christ evokes. And then at the end of the chapter Jesus cries out a surprising summary of his public ministry. Let’s gather again to treasure Christ.
