Thankful to God for the blessing of new elders. Trusting the Lord for the future of His work among our church as we continue as a congregation to treasure Christ together.

6:30 Appointment of elders.
We are looking forward to our fellowship Sunday tomorrow as we continue our series in Johns gospel looking at Christ first appearance to the ten disciples after his resurrection.
And then at our evening service we will be appointing two elders to help serve the Church. This is simply a public acknowledgement of what Darren and Jack have already been doing over these last number of years. Let’s meet again to treasure Christ together.

It was my sin that held him there.
This Sunday as we come towards the end of Johns soaring account of Jesus of Nazareth we reach the heart of our faith in the death of Christ for Gods glory and our eternal good. This Sunday at both services we will simply gaze as it we’re over the shoulder of John towards Calvary and the empty tomb.

Dishonesty and truth.
We continue our series in Johns gospel looking this week at Jesus before Annas then Jesus before Pilate. All these men can do in spite of their dishonesty and self seeking is set forward the plan of God from all eternity. Let’s treasure Christ together this Sunday.
