Prayer Focuses

1. Discernment – DHM Hub in Belfast
Please pray that God would give us clear discernment regarding a DHM Hub in Belfast. Pray for His timing, purpose, location, team, and partnerships, and that every step would align with His will.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5–6

2. Provision
Pray for God's supernatural provision for the Belfast Hub—financially, practically, and spiritually. Ask Him to open doors of generosity and provide everything needed to establish and sustain this work for His glory.

"And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 4:19

3. Wisdom
Pray for wisdom in every decision, plan, and conversation. Ask God to grant understanding, insight, creativity, and the ability to listen well and act wisely.

"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you."
James 1:5

4. Unity
Pray that God would strengthen unity among us as one body with one heart. Ask Him to remove division, build trust, deepen our love for one another, and make our unity a witness to His Kingdom in Belfast and beyond.

"Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."
Ephesians 4:3

Pray for Belfast
Please join us in praying for revival, healing, salvation, and transformation across our city. May the light of Jesus shine brightly in every community.

Join us for a morning of fellowship, teaching, worship, prayer and honest conversation as we explore what it means to stand firm in our faith and put on the full armour of God — Ephesians 6:10–18.

This is for men of all ages, backgrounds and churches. Whether you’ve been walking with Jesus for years, are just beginning to explore faith, or simply want to meet with other men — you’re welcome.

What do we do when we have prayed for healing, believed for a miracle, and God doesn’t heal in the way we expected?

I’ve wrestled with that question personally.

A friend of mine had stage four cancer. I believed God would heal her. She believed God would heal her too. Perhaps that sounds naïve to some, but I still believe God heals. I believe in miracles, and I believe we should never be afraid to pray boldly and believe God for the impossible.

But sometimes healing doesn’t look like what we expected.

My friend knew the Lord. She knew where she was going. That didn’t mean it was always easy. There were times when she was angry with God, times when she questioned Him and struggled with what was happening to her. And I think there is something very real about that. God is big enough to handle our questions, our anger and our grief.
Yet despite everything, she lived her final years to the absolute maximum. She loved, laughed, bought a motorbike, travelled, had parties and kept going. She promised me that she was still praising Him.
When the end came, it happened very quickly. I didn’t get the chance to see her. I didn’t get to sit beside her, hold her hand or say goodbye. And that was incredibly difficult for me.

But one evening, as I went to bed, I fell into what I can only describe as a semi-conscious state. I wasn’t dreaming, but I wasn’t fully awake either. And in that moment, I believe God gave me her hand to hold.
As I prayed Psalm 23, I felt as though I was saying goodbye to my friend. The following day, I received the phone call we all dread. But I already knew.
I believe God had given me that moment. I believe He allowed me to say goodbye when I couldn't physically be there. And for me, it brought a healing that I needed.
It also changed the way I think about healing.

My friend wasn't left without a miracle.
She was already healed.

We can pray for physical healing, and we absolutely should. We can believe God for miracles. We can ask Him to intervene, and we can hold on to hope right until the very end.
But sometimes, God's answer looks different from the one we were praying for.

Sometimes the miracle is a healed body.
And sometimes the greatest miracle is a soul safely home.

Psalm 23 says, “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.”
