A Blessed Mother's day to all our mothers far & near🙏❣️

For All My Mothers
To the mothers here, with hands to hold,
And to those in heaven, with hearts of gold.
A whisper of love from here to there,
A bond unbroken, a silent prayer.
For the joy and care you softly send,
A love that lasts, that has no end.
In the stars above, or here today,
You guide our steps along the way.
Whether in our arms or in the light,
You make the world forever bright.
A mother’s love is a sturdy tree,
Branching to earth and eternity.

I COULD NOT CROSS THAT BRIDGE
By Gavin H Julius

I saw a bridge of radiant light
that spanned the silent deep,
It rose from shadows of my night
where restless spirits weep.
They called me: “Come! The path is clear;
His grace will lead you home”,
And hope awoke, though mixed with fear,
no more alone I’ll roam.

I stepped towards that shining way
with longing in my soul,
For I had heard the words you say
of grace that makes one whole.
Your hymns proclaimed a love so wide,
your prayers rose pure above,
Hence, I believed that on your side
dwelt Christlike truth and love.

Yet as I watched from where I stood
the life of those redeemed,
Who, sealed by grace and called as good,
in brighter light had seemed,
I longed to see in common days
the love your hymns declare,
A living Christ in simple ways
made visible in care.

I do not judge, for I have known
my share of fault and fall,
My heart is weak when left alone,
His mercy covers all.
I thought that you, once made anew,
would shine with holy flame,
That love would guide in all you do
and glorify His name.

Today the bridge stands firm in light,
the Cross remains my plea,
His promise shines undimmed and bright
for souls in need, for me.
When I shall see His image clear
in word, in deed, in you,
Then shall I cross without my fear
and find my home there too.
