What a blessed morning we had at our monthly men’s BIBLE & BREAKFAST! We had Glen Brown along as our guest speaker this month and we were really blessed by what he brought from the word of God! Thanks to the A-TEAM in the kitchen as always - Alan & Gareth! 🍔🍪🍩☕️🫖

Glenmachan Goes Wild

“Campfires, craic, and questionable weather — what could go wrong?”

Where and When?

Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd May (stay 1 or 2 nights) – Meelmore Lodge & Amenity Site
52 Trassey Road, Bryansford, Co. Down, BT33 0QB

Open to all brave souls — Men only

What’s the Craic?

We’re heading into the wild (ish) for a night or two under the stars, around the fire, and possibly under a tarp if the weather turns. This is your chance to swap the sofa for a sleeping bag, the kettle for a campfire, and the complaints for craic.

Costs (Pay on Arrival)

Adults (16+): £12.00 per night

What You’ll Need

• Tent
• Sleeping bag & mat
• Travel pillow
• Food/snacks
• Suitable clothing & footwear (NI weather = all seasons in one day)
• Barbecue gear
• Tea & coffee (Billy Boyle’s tea quota is no joke)

I’ll be onsite to help with setup, show you around, and point you toward the nearest kettle.

Bring your tent. Leave your dignity. Embrace the mud,

Big Dave

Adelphos – The Youth Club for the Older Man

This Friday’s Adelphos (17th April) is officially off the cards! Turns out I’ve double‑booked myself… and when the other event is my dad’s 75th birthday, there’s only one winner.

So, instead of hot‑dogs and bowls, I’ll be raising a cuppa (and definitely a slice of cake) to the man who taught me everything I know and I still look upto!

“Honour your father and your mother…” – Exodus 20:12

God bless,
Dave
