Today is the International Day of Peace.

This year’s theme is “Invest in Peace – For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day.”

How can you invest in peace? Sometimes it starts with something as simple as building relationships.

Heavenly Father,

We pray for peace in our cities and throughout our world. You are close to the broken-hearted, and You see the pain of those whose suffering goes unnoticed by others. We ask that You bring comfort, hope, and healing to all who are hurting and in need.

Open our eyes, Lord, to the struggles of those around us. Grant us wisdom, compassion, and courage to respond with love and practical care. Help us to be instruments of Your peace and agents of positive change within our communities, reflecting Your grace in both word and action.

Amen.
