St John's & St Leonard's Church, Bedford 1 church, 2 buildings. Showing love, giving hope and bringing peace to Bedford.

Both our churches started as hospitals with the earliest record being around 1180. We also have a strong connection with one of Bedford's most famous sons, John Bunyan, who came to faith here about 1653. Although we recognise that our history is important for the witness given by numerous generations of Christians, we are not standing still. Activities for all ages continue to form an essential part of our witness to the local community.
