✨ Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord | 6 January ✨
Today the Church celebrates the Epiphany of the Lord, the great feast of manifestation, when Christ is revealed not only to Israel, but to all nations.
In the Gospel of the day (📖 Matthew 2:1–12), the Magi journey from afar, guided by a star, searching not for power or comfort, but for Truth. They find it not in a palace, but in a child, humble, vulnerable, and radiant with divine glory.
🌟 The Epiphany reminds us that:
* God meets sincere seekers, wherever they come from
* Faith is a journey, often requiring courage, patience, and trust
* True worship always leads us to offer our very best, like the gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh
The Magi returned home “by another way.” An encounter with Christ always changes the direction of our lives.
As we celebrate this solemnity, let us ask:
🙏 What star is God using to draw me closer to Him?
🙏 What gift am I being called to place before the Lord today?
May Christ, the Light of the world, shine in our hearts, our homes, and our communities and through us, be made known to others.
✨ Lord Jesus, light for all nations, lead us always to You. ✨
