St Paul's is the town centre church of Bedford and Civic church of Bedfordshire. St Paul’s is a thriving parish church which worships in the high Anglican tradition of the Church of England. The church is of cathedral proportions and exercises a ministry of welcome to thousands of visitors every year. St Paul's is an all-age congregation and enjoys a flourishing musical and liturgical tradition. T

he church is open every day and we exercise a ministry of worship, witness and inclusive welcome in the town centre with a special care for the vulnerable and needy.

Lunchtime Organ Recital at St Paul's

Join us at 12 noon on Saturday 12 September for a free organ recital by Bedford-based organist Amy Lammin as part of our Music at St Paul's series. Admission is free, with a suggested retiring collection of £5.

Why not make a morning of it? Our Café will be open from 10am to 12 noon, serving coffee and homemade cakes before the recital.

Join us for our Harvest Festival Eucharist at 10.15am as we gather to give thanks for God's gifts and the abundance of creation.

As part of our celebration, we will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Bedford Foodbank. Donations of tinned goods, dried foods and other long-life essentials will be gratefully received.

Are you, or anyone you know, a young person with a love of singing? St Paul's has six choral scholarships for young singers to develop their musical skills and gain valuable performance experience.
The Scholarship programme is open to students in Years 10-13 and undergraduates. Successful scholars will become part of a friendly and supportive choir, sing a wide range of music, and build confidence through regular services and concerts.
A fantastic opportunity for aspiring musicians to grow as singers while being part of a our church community.
