At St. Mary’s Ellingham we have been having problems with the organ, which needs to be repaired at an estimated cost of £6000, following a roof leak.

In order to help raise the funds, we have managed to secure an appearance by D’Arcy Trinkwon, International Concert Organist, on the 6th September at 7PM. The concert will be free, with refreshments, but with a retiring collection.

It should be a beautiful way to spend a late summer evening with friends.

Thank you to the folks at Toft Monks for their hard work and hospitality in hosting our benefice Easter Sunday service today. Our congregation, both regulars and newcomers, were in excellent voice. Baptismal vows were renewed and the joyful glory of the resurrection celebrated by all. A huge selection of teas and homemade cakes with an Easter egg hunt for the young (and young at heart) rounded off the morning. Every blessing to you all.
