🌿 What a lovely four months it's been! 🌿
As our summer programme comes to a close, I've been reflecting on what has been a busy few months of outreach across the Beaminster Team
💚 Supporting families across our four primary schools, extending the offer to Mount joy School and exploring ways to support younger pupils at Beaminster School next year.
👶🏻 Our Baby & Toddler Group continues to flourish, welcoming new families while seeing familiar faces each week. Thanks to your feedback, we kept meeting throughout the school holidays.
💛 'Woody Wanders' took us on some new walks while our 'Sunshine & Stories' sessions in Broadwindsor, Mosterton and Salway Ash offered an opportunity for families to relax, chat and share stories with their children. We also loved launching 'Bricks & Buns' at Mosterton Church - a morning of Bible story themed Lego, doughnuts and great conversation.
🌟 Behind the scenes is the ongoing work of building relationships, supporting families and finding new ways to support our communities.
💙 Finally, a personal note:
This summer marks the end of my time as outreach worker. It has been genuinely wonderful to work alongside so many kind, generous and welcoming people. Thank you to everyone who has supported the project - and me personally - over the past year.
I leave knowing the outreach work has strong foundations and I'm excited to see it continue to grow.
