Bring your knitting and come for a natter with these lovely ladies

0930-1100 Baby Sling Library
All questions answered regarding your baby slings/carriers

SUNDAY
0930 Sunday Worship begins. All welcome.

Please note, our current opening hours are Monday-Saturday 0930-1530
The Café is closed on Sundays.

It's a big day for many young folk in our community tomorrow as they collect their GCSE results.

If you are looking for a celebratory lunch, remember that we are offering free food to all children under the age of 18.

For adults in need, we also have the Pay It Forward board. All items of food and drink on the board have already been paid for by other members of the community. Simply unpin what you would like and hand it to the person on the till. No questions asked.

Our kitchen will be open until 2.30pm, Café closes at 3.30pm

Scarecrow Trail Celebrations at The Dove Cafe

Since the Dove Cafe first opened it's doors, we've proudly taken part in the annual Scarecrow Trail - and this year we were honoured to be asked to choose the Community Choice Winner.

With so much creativity and effort poured into every display, choosing just one was impossible. After much deliberation, we awarded the prize to Snow White, but we couldn't stop there. Our well-deserved runners up were:
* ET- wonderfully nostalgic
* The Magic Faraway Tree - beautifully imaginative
* I'll Get That Rabbit - full of fun and character

A huge well done to ALL Scarecrow creators. Every display brought joy to the trail and showcased the spirit of the community.

And an extra special thank you to Felicity Holtspur Scarecrow Trail who has organised this much loved event for the past 7 years and now steps down. What an incredible idea you brought to our community - and what a gift it has been. Thank you for rallying us together year after year. 🙏

Scarecrow week starts TOMORROW! So does our free children’s food (running until September 1st!)

Pick up your £3 map from the cafe counter to get scarecrow hunting!

The cafe will be open on Sunday 26th & Sunday 2nd from 11am - so come on down anytime this week to start the trail from the cafe and see if our 2026 design tops last years!
