Sunday 31 May is Trinity Sunday celebrating and reflecting on the mystery of God, three persons in one. Do join us at any of our services:

9.30am St Andrew's - Holy Communion and St Thomas's - Morning Prayer

11am Batley All Saints - Holy Communion and St Paul's - Morning prayer

Our online service this week comes from the Woodbridge group of churches in North Wiltshire, and will link in with a series of daily reflections in 'Every Day Faith' on Pilgrimage. It will be live from 9am on the CofE website, page or YouTube channel and available for playback anytime thereafter. All of this service content is manually subtitled and contains British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation throughout.

PS Every Day Faith is a CofE App giving about 5 min daily reflections on a short bible reading linking our faith to everyday life. It can be downloaded from the CofE website or through any app store.

Come, join us this Sunday 24 May, when we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit who encourages and inspires us to live our daily lives in the light of God's love. WE HAVE JUST ONE SERVICE AT 10.30AM AT ST ANDREW'S PURLWELL with refreshments afterwards in the church hall.

This service is also our opportunity to thank God and Father Jonathan and Mother Jo for what they have brought us over the past three or so years before Jonathan takes up a new post at Lichfield Cathedral on 7 June.

Please note: There is Sunday school this Sunday 17 May, at Batley Parish Church (Batley All Saints): 11am. For children 3-11yr. old.

As always we stand ready to welcome you at any of our services this Sunday 17 May, the Sunday between Ascension and Pentecost, waiting and praying for the coming of the Holy Spirit. The three services at St Andrew's, St Pauls' and Batley All Saints are Holy communion, whilst the service at St Thomas's is Cafe church, an informal service with an opportunity to learn of God's love for each of us in a different way.
All services are at their usual times: 9.30am St Thomas's and St Andrew's, 11am St Paul's, Hanging Heaton and Batley All Saints.
The weekly online service comes from St Peter and St Paul's church in Old Bolingbroke, Lincolnshire, winners of some national awards for their work of bringing Church and Community together. All of our four churches in the United Benefice of Batley stand ready to welcome you tomorrow, Sunday 3 May, the fifth Sunday of Easter at any of our services:
9.30am St Thomas's and St Andrew's; 11 am St Paul's Hanging Heaton - all three are Holy Communion.
The 11am service at Batley All Saints (Batley Parish) will be Cafe church: an informal form of worship in the Community Room, where all generations join together with the emphasis on craft and conversation over coffee and cake. So Sunday school will join us too!
