We today said goodbye to our Vicar at St Saviours Church Brownhill, Rev. Lesley as she heads off to enjoy her retirement.

Lesley you led us through some of our most difficult moments. From working to fixing the church roof to fixing the church boilers. Through the pandemic and the death of the late Queen Elizabeth, but thanks to your commitment and service to the church we held it together.

Words cannot express how much we at st saviours will miss you but we wish you all the best for the future!

I hope everyone had an amazing day yesterday. We’ve had an amazing time here in church over the Christmas period, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, the birth of our Saviour.

From our Carol services to our crib service and of cause our Christmas Day communion we have enjoyed every minute. But none of it would be possible if it wasn’t for our church leaders.

On behalf of everyone at St Saviours Church, Brownhill I want to say a huge massive thank you to everyone who helped over this festive period and I want to say a special thank you to Rev. Lesley for all your hard work and support over the course of the Christmas period and indeed the whole year everything you do is heartily appreciated by everyone across the parish. Thank you!

I hope everyone has a wonder new year and I look forward to seeing you in church on Sunday at 10:00.

It’s almost time! You are invited to our church on Christmas Eve at 4pm for our crib service and at 11:30pm for midnight mass. Then on Christmas Day at 10:00 for our Family Eucharist service.

08:00am and 10:00am and we also have our Christmas carol service at 04:00pm all are welcome!
