Thank you so much to the outreach team, Girls Brigade and our young people it was great to have our church family together, for a great harvest service this morning! Thank you so much to Jackie from CHAS for sharing your story and talk on CHAS this morning.

A big thank you and well done also to Eilidh for looking after the tech for the last few weeks ❤️.

For golden fields and orchards richly stored,
For daily bread, we thank You, gracious Lord.
May Boghall share the harvest You provide,
With open hands to all in need beside.

Tomorrow’s service will be led by our wonderful Outreach Team, with our Youth Group, Girls’ Brigade and lots of different arms of our church family all playing their part.

A real celebration of Harvest, and all that we have to be thankful for. ❤️

It was a real privilege recently to take part in an interview for Regal Radio, as people and organisations from across the Boghall and Bathgate community have been given the opportunity to talk about who they are and what they do locally.

I was delighted to have the chance to talk about Boghall Parish Church, why we’re here, what goes on throughout the week, our links with our local schools and community, and why being part of the community matters so much to us.

There’s always far more happening in and around our church than you might see on a Sunday morning!

What a lovely afternoon celebrating a very special wedding.

There’s something really beautiful about an intimate wedding, surrounded by the people who matter most, with plenty of smiles, a few happy tears and lots of love.

One of the privileges of being a Church of Scotland minister is that no two weddings are ever quite the same. For me, a wedding should be personal to the couple, their story, their personalities, their people, with God’s love and blessing right at the heart of it.

It doesn’t have to be big or elaborate to be incredibly special.

A real privilege to share in today.

Today is National Poetry Day, and we're celebrating the power of poetry to help us see God's gifts in new ways.

Sara Teasdale's poem 'Peace' evokes the deep stillness that can be found beyond the noise and pressure of daily life.

The peace and stillness of God’s love is a gift already given to us, and when we make space for silence, prayer and reflection, we become better able to recognise the blessings that lie at the heart of creation.
