Join Bristol Catholic Women on Saturday 26th September from 1pm to 4.30pm at St Mary on the Quay, Bristol, which Bristol Catholic Women is organising alongside Bristol Catholic Men, in partnership with NBCW.

The day is open to both men and women, and will bring together speakers from across the UK sharing their own journeys in married life, religious life, and the diaconate, whether attendees are searching, settled, or simply curious. The day will also include Holy Mass, confession, and lunch together.

Creationtide Launch Invitation - Tuesday 1st September 8.00pm online.
The ‘Jubilee Garden Project’ is an invitation to use physical space to heal, transform and renew. Join us to celebrate the launch of the project in partnership between ‘The God Who Speaks’ and the ‘Ecological Conversion Group’. Register at: www.jubileegarden.org/events

The project has three patrons to help us to engage in the rebuilding of our relationship with God, with neighbours and with the earth; Mary, Martha and Lazarus from John 11-12. These three siblings from the town of Bethany were among Jesus’ closest friends and will represent the three theological virtues of Faith, Hope and Charity. To be a ‘Jubilee Bible Garden’, each patron and their virtue must be enacted in the garden as a way of rebuilding communion with God, with our neighbour, and with the earth. In so doing, we also rebuild trust in ourselves. The care of the garden becomes a physical work, representational of the care needed for our community, whilst also inspiring our own faith journey.

Starts Tues 15th Sept Bath Area Confirmation Course will begin at 7.00pm at St Mary’s Church. The course is open to young people in Y9-13. Email the Parish Office for an application form or pick one up at the back of the church. Bishop Bosco will come to the Bath area Confirmation Mass Fri 13th Nov, 7.00pm.
