At Oasis Church Bath this Sunday, we’re joined by guest speaker Rachael Kenward, Life Coach for Rewire Life Coaching (www.rewirelifecoaching.com) who describe themselves as ‘a team of transformational life coaches combining biblical principles with neuroscience.’ Rachael has over 2400 hours of coaching experience, meaning she’s eligible to become a Master Coach with the Association of Coaching! Her professional life has seen her running aspiration-raising programmes in Nottingham, managing a mentoring initiative for asylum seekers, and now coaching people to help them identify the root causes of what they are experiencing, and take charge of their lives. Rachael will be talking to us about her favourite 'life hacks' for improving emotional health, drawn from her wealth of experience in coaching others. Join us in person from 10am for a 10.30am start, or sign-up to watch the livestream at www.oasisbath.org/sundays

Oasis Pantry urgently needs a volunteer delivery driver! Are you free on a Thursday morning for around an hour, and do you have access to a car? We need someone who can collect from two or three locations across Bath each Thursday morning and deliver to our city centre pantry. If you can't commit to every week, once or twice each month would be incredibly helpful! Please email [email protected] if you're able to help, and if you can't help, please share this post - thank you!

This week at Oasis Church Bath its Community Sunday. On Community Sundays we don’t meet all together in our church building. Instead, we catch up with each other in smaller gatherings, spend time with friends and family, or just enjoy a day of rest. If you’re new we look forward to meeting you the following week! At Oasis Church Bath, no two Sundays look exactly the same. One of our core values is about valuing difference, so we intentionally vary our styles and formats to create space for different preferences, personalities, and ways of engaging.

Last Sunday, we got creative by making small plasticine figures to represent ourselves (complete with googly eyes, of course!), and we also wrote prayers on Post-it notes, expressing the people, situations, and communities we long to see transformed.

Life wasn’t meant to be lived alone. One of the best life hacks we know is doing life with people who share your values. At Oasis Church Bath this Sofa Sunday, we’ll take a closer look at our midweek small groups, known as Micro Hubs, chatting with group leaders about how these communities help us navigate the ups and downs of life, grow in faith, and find support along the way. Join us in person from 10am for a 10.30am start, or to sign-up to watch the livestream visit www.oasisbath.org/sundays

We love working with others who share our values! Our Roundhill Pantry in Southdown is a partnership project between ourselves and Lux Youth Project, Bath Methodist Church, St Barnabas Church and the Southdown and Whiteway Church and Community Partnership. Each organisation contributes what they can, from storage or a delivery venue to a monthly team leader. Together we do what we could not do on our own, providing a vital service to the community.

Jesus taught a simple principle known as the golden rule – “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” This Sunday at Oasis Church Bath, Jo Dolby will explore why the Golden Rule is more than just a nice idea. It’s a practical way of breaking cycles of conflict, enabling compassion rather than judgement and creating the kind of relationships we all long for. We won’t get it right all the time, but what might change if we started treating people not based on what they deserve from us, but on how we’d hope to be treated ourselves? Join us in person from 10am for a 10.30am start, or sign-up to watch the livestream at www.oasisbath.org/sundays
