As Christians worldwide celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ this Easter I wanted to share one of my favourite Easter pieces of music. The Lamb of God by Rob Gardner. It last almost 1.5 hours but definitely worth making the time to watch it.

Hi everybody, as I mentioned before, we have adjusted our plans for the ward activity on 3rd November. Instead of meeting at the chapel we are planning to attend a firework event in the community together. There is an entry fee but it will be funded by the ward, so keep your ticket and we will reimburse the money. It is cash only so please bring cash.
It is at Combe Down rugby club in Bath (not far from Bath University), so we will meet there at 6.30 on Friday 3rd November in time for the actual display which is at 7.15
Parking is on street so please also allow time to find a place to park.
I will attach the poster too.
All the best
Bishop

The First Presidency released the following statement on Thursday, September 8, 2022:

The United Kingdom and the people of the world have lost a noble monarch with the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. She presided through seven decades, in times of peace and conflict, plenty and struggle, and did so with characteristic grace and goodness.

The First Presidency, Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints express admiration and respect for the Queen and extend our sincere condolences to her family and her people at this tender time.

In modern-day scripture, the Lord counsels that we are to “live together in love, insomuch that thou shalt weep for the loss of them that die” (Doctrine and Covenants 42:45). The many expressions of sympathy from around the world are a loving tribute to Queen Elizabeth II from those who loved her and who mourn with her family and the people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.

In such moments, we feel gratitude for the goodness of an exemplary life and rejoice in the hope of a glorious resurrection, made possible through the loving sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The First Presidency extends sincere condolences to Queen Elizabeth's family and her people at this tender time.
