Meet the Committee 2022-2023!!

Elisabetta Carpagnano: Bible Study Leader & Treasurer
This will be my 3rd year at BSU studying Drama. I am super excited to be on committee again this next year, Jesus has done some amazing stuff already and I’m so excited and expectant for what he is going to do next! Digging deeper into the word, seeing what God has to say, making Jesus famous and bringing kingdom to campus is one of the many things I am passionate about, so I am very grateful that Jesus has blessed me with another year on committee!! Exciting times!!

This is my second year at Bath spa studying History and Politics. Im looking forward to being co-president with Chloe.
I’m so excited for what Jesus has done for me and I’m grateful for an opportunity to share that and be part of the CU.

I will be going into 2nd year studying Creative Writing. I am so excited be be on the CU committee as I am very passionate about sharing the word of God and advancing His kingdom. I felt I was being called to Leadership and knew this role would be right for me. I am really excited to connect with more Christians!

Welcome week 2:

Sunday 3rd October:
Church Search:
We will be doing another church search, we would love to help you find the right church!! There cu member who would be more tha happy to welcome you to their church or meet you to explore a new one. There will be more info on this soon.

Monday 4th October:
Food for Thought 12-3pm:
This will be a great opportunity to meet us, ask some questions and find out about churches and christan events in the city. We will have really yummy pastries, cakes, sweets, drinks, as well as Cassie the dog, Claire Tinker from
And Ben Knowlman from
Newton Park Cmapus

Tuesday 5th October:
Frans Curry Night 7pm St Swithins Church:
Fran recently stepped down from being part of Bath Spa Chaplaincy task but has been organising curry nights at her church for years and is still willing to do so, it's an amazing night to enjoy great food and just hang out as a cu!!

Wednesday 6th October:
Picnic at the Crescent 12-4pm:
Come along to a chill picnic at one of Baths beautiful landmarks, make sure to being food and drink:)

Thursday 7th October:
CU quiz night at The Brew House 7pm:
Let's end our welcome weeks with a fun quiz night at the pub and cheers to a super fun year ahead excited and expectant of what Gods got in store!!

Hey guys super excited to share our events with you, below are all the dates and times for the events we will have on during welcome week 1~

Sunday 26th September:
Church Search: There are so many churches in Bath and we would love to help you find the right church for you, there will be more info soon about this.

Wednesday 29th September:
Freshers fair 10am-4pm:
Come along and meet some of us from CU at Newton Park Students Union

Thursday 30th October:
Worship live lounge 7:30-9pm:
This will be a great evening of worship, hanging out in the presence of God surrounded by like minded students and it's a time to get to know others:)

Friday 1st October:
City Scavenger hunt:
This will be an opportunity to get to know the city!! Bring along a picnic to Victoria Park at 12:30pm there will be committee members with CU jumpers on waiting for you by the skate park who will walk you up to where we will be, after this we will have our City Scavenger hunt where we will be in groups and given locations to go and find in the city centre, after this we will meet again at Victoria park just to hang out as a cu!!

Welcome new students!!
