• The Literal Meaning of "Cast": the Greek verb epiriptō, which translates to physically throwing something onto another object, active transfer of a heavy burden.
• Recognize that trying to carry life's burdens alone is a form of self-reliant pride.
• Trust and surrender of worries is explicitly personal: "because he cares for you." You and I are reassured that God is not distant or indifferent, but intimately attentive to our struggles.
