The Church suffered some damage this afternoon to a window, and while this should be covered by insurance, this will cost us £500 for the excess.

It would appear that the damage was caused by a football (or similar) hitting the church.

We would remind people the churchyard is not a place to play with balls and ask parents to ensure their children do not do so.
