We are one church across four locations in the town of Basingstoke. As a church we have been here for hundreds of years, but right now we are working together with the HTB Network to launch a bunch of exciting new things this autumn and we can’t wait for you to get involved.

A statement from the Bishop of Wi******er, Rt Revd Philip Mounstephen:

'This morning I wrote to my friend and brother, Bishop Philip Egan of the Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth, to send him condolences on the part of all of us in the Diocese of Wi******er on the death of His Holiness, Pope Francis. As I said to Bishop Philip, when I think of Pope Francis, I cannot help but recall the description of Barnabas, in the Book of Acts, as ‘A good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith.’ For that he certainly was. Bishop Philip replied with words I heartily endorse: 'He was a very “human” Pope – with the “smell of the sheep” - who called us to put faith into practical action and charity. He was utterly committed to dialogue with all and to building a more fraternal world.'

Above all else he reflected the character and nature of Jesus Christ, whom he faithfully followed and, as such, sets an example for us all. May he rest in peace, and rise in glory.'
