Also a quick thank you for all those who came and supported the worth causes at our Christmas Festive Service activity today. Your donations will help many people locally through this Christmas season. There will be further opportunities to help with the boxing and distribution later and we will keep you posted on that effort closer to Christmas.

Note to all in Basingstoke and Deane, the council have released the following information regarding the homeless. If you are aware of anyone needing help during this time please see the information below:

Due to the cold snap BDBC have instigated SWEP (Severe Weather Emergency Provision) for rough sleepers with effect from tonight. This will be in effect until further notice and is expected to run all weekend and early into next week. If you need to arrange support for a rough sleeper the ring the 24 hr BDBC number, 01256 844844, and hold the line to wait for instructions regarding emergencies. Otherwise call Julian House on 01256 322791 and leave a message. This second number is not a 24 hr service but they will respond relatively quickly to enable rough sleepers to access support, food etc.
