Easter is a beautiful reminder of hope, renewal, and the incredible love that God has for each of us.

In the story of Jesus’ triumph over death, we are reminded that no matter the trials we face in our lives, there is always hope, healing, and new beginnings. The Resurrection is a beacon of light that encourages us to rise above our challenges and walk in faith.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, let us reflect on his sacrifice and the boundless grace that has been extended to us. May this Easter inspire us all to be vessels of love and kindness in our communities, sharing the message of hope and redemption with everyone we meet.

Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and joyful Easter filled with peace and the assurance of His everlasting love.!

*THERE’S PROFIT IN ALL LABOUR*

_*đź“–In all labour there is profit: but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury (Proverbs 14:23).*_

The opening verse draws a stark contrast between working hard, being diligent, and idle talk or laziness. The “idle talker” or lazy person tends to poverty. The term penury is synonymous with poverty, lack, want, or being broke. Proverbs 14:23 (CEV) says, _*“Hard work is worthwhile, but empty talk will make you poor.”*_

People who work hard receive something for their efforts; their labour produces results. But there are those who engage in endless chatter; they criticize everything. They know what the government, the governor, the mayor, and even the president ought to be doing. They have opinions on every subject, but do nothing themselves.

The Bible is clear about such individuals: their mere talk, without the right actions, will lead to lack and poverty. Idle talkers may sound knowledgeable and convincing, but their words have no value. No wonder the Word emphasizes the importance of diligence and warns against idleness. Proverbs 10:4-5 says, _*“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame.”*_

Proverbs 12:24 further contradistinguishes between the diligent and the sluggard; it says, _*“The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.”*_

God's plan for you, however, is far beyond simply working hard to avoid poverty; rather, it is for you to prosper in every area of your life. He expresses this clearly in 3 John 1:2. It says, _*“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”*_

This is God’s desire for you—to experience true prosperity in every dimension of your life: spiritually, materially, and physi

PERSEVERE IN FAITH AND PRAYER

LUKE 18:1, 6-8 (GNB)

Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to teach…that they should always pray and never become discouraged. …, "Listen to what that corrupt judge said. Now, will God not judge in favor of his own people who cry to him day and night for help? Will he be slow to help them? I tell you, he will judge in their favor and do it quickly. But will the Son of Man find faith on earth when he comes?"

Do not stop praying for any reason. God wants you to keep praying. Romans 12:11-12 says, “Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.” In 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, the Bible says, “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

Do not be discouraged from praying because what you have prayed for is yet to manifest. Keep praying and thanking God for that which you desire. God will answer you speedily. Do not lose hope. Don’t give up on God. As you keep praying and thanking God, His peace will keep filling your heart to guard and keep you till the manifestation comes. You will also keep receiving direction from Him.

Whenever you feel bothered about an issue, pray about it until God’s peace fills your heart. Allow the Spirit to empower and lead you as you pray. Pray until you know something has happened. God had told Elijah that He would send rain, but Elijah went up the mountain to pray seven times until he saw a sign that the rain was coming, (1 Kings 18:41-45). Pray until you have a note of victory on the inside. Pray through till you get a release of God’s peace and victory in your spirit.

PRAYER POINT:
PRAY IN FAITH ABOUT ANY DESIRE IN YOUR HEART. PRAY IN THE SPIRIT AND THANK GOD FOR HEARING YOU

OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE MANIFESTATION OF GOD'S GRACE

2Corithians 12:9 (AMPC)

*But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you […]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!

As Apostle Paul prayed to God concerning the challenge he was facing, he received a word from God that changed his perspective and attitude toward the situation. God made him know that what He was facing was an opportunity to experience His grace. Though it made him feel weak, that situation was an opportunity for the strength of God to be made perfect and manifested in Apostle Paul’s life.

Instead of allowing any challenge you face to weigh you down, pray about it and know that because of that challenge, you are going to experience the manifestation of God’s grace like never before. The strength of God is going to rise up in you and you are going to overcome and walk in the fulness of God’s will for your life. Like Apostle Paul, you need to begin to see and rejoice about this (2 Cor. 12:10, Rom. 5:3-5).

That situation that is making you feel weak, foolish, or like nothing is also an opportunity for God to use you and take the glory in your life. God uses the things the world calls foolish to amaze the wise, He uses the weak to amaze the strong, and He uses the worthless to amaze those who seem important. He does all these so that He alone takes the glory, (1 Cor. 1:26-29). Don’t let that situation make you lose heart or give up. Yield yourself more to God, (Judg. 6:11-12).

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I yield myself to you right now, and I thank you for your strength that is being perfected and manifesting in my life.
