Here’s what’s going on at Holy Trinity this Saturday and Sunday for the Better Barrow event!
Did you know you can visit the bell tower? For details, and for info on what’s on, visiting the church, FOOD, TOILETS and BABY CHANGING facilities read on.
SATURDAY;
Church open between 10am-4pm. All welcome to explore this lovely building including your good doggies.
Local history exhibition displayed all day.
Bell Tower tours from 2pm. Please call in during the day to book your slot. (Access is via a stepladder. Children who are young enough to be carried unfortunately cannot take the tour. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.)
10am-4pm Vicars Room open for food, toilet and baby changing facilities. Toasted tea cakes and hot breakfast rolls (bacon, veggie sausage) served between 10am-12 noon.
From 12 noon freshly made sandwiches (a variety of fillings) and home made cakes served (cake only after 3pm.) You’ll also find a TOMBOLA and a selection of used BOOKS for sale.
SUNDAY;
Church open to visitors 1pm-4pm. All welcome including your good doggies.
History of Barrow exhibition in church. Come and see if you recognise any faces on the many photographs on display.
Beginning at 2pm our fantastic team of bell ringers will sound a Quarter Peal.
Fresh sandwiches and home made cakes available in the Vicars Room between 1-3.30pm (cake only after 3pm.)
