Better Barrow Weekend.
Do come and take a look at our exhibit which you’ll find in the Church porch, not in a barrow this time but something different! (Number 21)

There’s lots to see in Church too, and of course refreshments in the Vicars Room on both days (from 1pm on Sunday)

Here’s what’s going on at Holy Trinity this Saturday and Sunday for the Better Barrow event!
Did you know you can visit the bell tower? For details, and for info on what’s on, visiting the church, FOOD, TOILETS and BABY CHANGING facilities read on.
SATURDAY;
Church open between 10am-4pm. All welcome to explore this lovely building including your good doggies.
Local history exhibition displayed all day.
Bell Tower tours from 2pm. Please call in during the day to book your slot. (Access is via a stepladder. Children who are young enough to be carried unfortunately cannot take the tour. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.)
10am-4pm Vicars Room open for food, toilet and baby changing facilities. Toasted tea cakes and hot breakfast rolls (bacon, veggie sausage) served between 10am-12 noon.
From 12 noon freshly made sandwiches (a variety of fillings) and home made cakes served (cake only after 3pm.) You’ll also find a TOMBOLA and a selection of used BOOKS for sale.
SUNDAY;
Church open to visitors 1pm-4pm. All welcome including your good doggies.
History of Barrow exhibition in church. Come and see if you recognise any faces on the many photographs on display.
Beginning at 2pm our fantastic team of bell ringers will sound a Quarter Peal.
Fresh sandwiches and home made cakes available in the Vicars Room between 1-3.30pm (cake only after 3pm.)

We are aware the Church clock currently has a fault with the chimes. Repairs will be carried out by a specialist as soon as possible, so it shouldn’t be too long before the clock is chiming as normal once again.

Are you thinking of going out for coffee and cake next week? Then perhaps come along to this lovely event here in Barrow. Bring a friend or the family to enjoy delicious home made cakes and bakes right here in the village while supporting a great cause.
A lovely event for Christian Aid week, taking place between 2-4pm on Weds 13th May in the Vicars Room. Hope you can come!

A message from our Church Warden.

We have recently undertaken maintenance works to the Church and Vicar's Room roof. Our next project is to carry out essential maintenance work to the Church floor. We have started to remove old carpet tiles to reveal the original tiled floors which are looking distressed and not their best. Over the coming months we will be working hard to improve their appearance. Please bear with us as we undertake this work. Thank you for your understanding.

It’s the book sale on Saturday!
If you haven’t tried our book sale yet do pop in for a look. Hundreds of used books on all kinds of subjects under one roof! Priced between only 10-30p. Stock up on your reading, meet with friends, treat yourself to a bacon sandwich or toasted tea cake. Your good doggies welcome too.

It’s nearly Pop In time!
Saturday Morning Pop In takes place this Saturday the 11th and you are invited!
Between 10am-12 noon in the Vicars Room you’ll find delicious goodies and hot drinks, as well as a warm welcome.
On the menu this time will be hot buttered tea cakes, home made carrot cake, banana loaf and Bakewell blondies. (Gluten free cake available too)
Do join us, come for breakfast, bring a friend, bring grandma, bring the dog. Hope to see you 🙂
